Does it count as the first secret set of Reading Festival 2026? To celebrate the extended version of their 21st Century Fiction album, released this Friday the 28th of August, the band are playing a free gig at legendary local Reading Venue The Purple Turtle. They are on at 9pm, their mailing list knew about it yesterday, The Purple Turtle have announced it today.
How will it work? It is first come, first served. So the question is, how late do you want to risk getting down there for a spot? It will be yet another legendary night at The Purple Turtle, I suspect the demand will be very high even with the late notice!
