Radio Wigwam are putting on a fantastic two days of live music at The Purple Turtle this Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th of September!

Digital radio station Radio Wigwam have been championing great new indie music for a decade. They are building up as a promoter of live music gigs as well. Normally, they put on short curated evenings around London, Reading and a few other locations. This weekend, they celebrate ten years of backing new music in some style.

The Purple Turtle will have a full programme of live music across Saturday and Sunday with 33 acts taking part, with two stages of music on each day. Alongside the Purple Turtle’s Main Stage, there will also be a second stage in The Courtyard. Best of all, tickets are very reasonably priced!! Guarantee yourself a spot by booking a ticket now.

Glancing at the line-up, there are some Reading Indie Life favourites, including Bone Idle, The Certs, Meli Foster-Turner and doops. There are plenty of bands and artists we have not had a chance to see, amongst these Buried in Bermuda, The Ariston, Neon Fields, Third Lung, Daisy Gill and The Stretch all caught our ear on a first listen. Don’t miss out on this great event!!
