Major line-up news is incoming in the next few days.
Lots of festivals are currently unveiling their headline act news and all evidence points to Reading and Leeds following suit in the next week. Both the Instagram page and the website have been reset, the usual sign that an announcement is imminent.
Rock Star Energy have been replaced by Pepsi as the official sponsor and there is a major makeover in the branding style:

In a highly unusual move one act has jumped the gun on the official announcement and Fontaines DC have outed themselves on Instagram as attending the festival next year.

An Instagram post released around 9:30pm today, on Sunday the 30th of November, shows footage of the band walking off stage after a major performance with the following image at the end:

As Fontaines currently have no UK shows listed for 2026 this could mean they have been elevated to headliner, or co-headliner status, and are going to be locked into an exclusive contract with the festival for 2026.

Plenty of rumours have been swirling around headline acts with a number of artists now ruled out. Twenty-One Pilots had been hotly tipped but have instead confirmed for All Points East. Llorde, Deftones and Tyler the Creator have all been taken out of the running by the same event series. Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park are at Download so are also ruled out. Lewis Capaldi is running his own massive outdoor event so unless he appears as a sub-headliner it seems unlikely. Plenty of talk has revolved around Foo Fighters but their two dates in Liverpool next year slightly reduces the possibility. The lack of a London date on the tour does seem suspicious though. Florence + The Machine have other shows booked but shouldn’t be ruled out just yet.
Artists who have been quiet on 2026 plans may be more feasible. Olivia Rodrigo, Sleep Token, Sabrina Carpenter, Muse, Greenday and Sam Fender all seem realistic possibilities. Given it is a fallow year for Glastonbury the possibility of a truly outstanding signing is out there and both Radiohead and Oasis would seem slightly less impossible options than normal.
Who would you like to see? What do you all think?
