Huge shocks across the board in a heavily reconfigured festival.
The second wave of acts that felt like it was never going to drop has finally, finally arrived! There are huge questions over how things might be structured that are left unanswered, but dance music is definitely being pushed forwards as Reading 2.0 takes more shape. The new Warehouse stage area is being called a purpose built home for dance music featuring a range of artists.

The biggest shift is a much larger difference between the Reading and Leeds line-ups than has previously ever happened since the two festivals were officially twinned together in 1999.
From an indie perspective Leeds have got a number of talents to themselves with The Lathums, The Ks and the brilliant Gurriers being added to the already announced exclusive of Kasabian. Other Leeds exclusives include Rose Gray, Arkayla and The Lilacs.

Reading has a number of exclusives that also catch the eye, top of the list are Loyle Carner, Viagra Boys, Seb Lowe and Radio Free Alice.

Declan Mckenna is finally confirmed much to the surprise of no-one. The leakers proved correct about Overpass, Cardinals and James Marriott – though Corella have not been named since being linked. Strong additions across both sites include Holly Humberstone, Kingfishr and Paris Paloma.
Looking at exciting young indie and guitar talents – Bleech 9:3, bar italia, Westside Cowboy and The North are all featuring at both Reading and Leeds.
