James And The Cold Gun

Welsh rock band named after a Kate Bush track. Whilst lively, their April album release hasn’t made much of an impression for a band opening up Reading’s second stage.

Blanco

A major part of the London Drill scene when it came up as a part of Harlem Spartans. He has shown a much wider range of styles and influences as a solo artist and should provide a great show with plenty of entertainment for any lovers of rap and afroswing.

Issey Cross

Part of the Loud LDN collective that is starting to make a sizable impression on the UK music scene. A highly sort after singer having collaborated with Sammy Virji, Wilkinson and many more. She also produces great tunes of her own with a dance and drum and bass backing. Probably should have been on Sunday where a number of her collaborators are also playing.

Pozer

22 year-old English rapper. Came up fast on Tik Tok, his initial releases, all singles and EPs so far, have had a big impact.

Example

A legend on the UK music scene as both a rapper/singer and a producer. A solid festival performer who will get the early afternoon crowd going.

Pale Waves

A quality indie-pop/pop-rock outfit with four solid albums under their belt. Tuneful melodies and a strong LGBTQ+ following. Will not disappoint.

Bakar

It seems like a third album is incoming from this experimental indie-pop-rocker. Great mid-afternoon festival vibes with a few big tunes in the locker. ‘Hell N Back’ was a massive smash hit.

Wunderhorse

We are fast entering the time of Wunderhorse. Two albums in and this band are primed to explode in the manner of Nirvana or Radiohead. They sound great on record, but they are an absolute revelation live. Already one of the greatest rock bands on the planet, the only way is up for them. Future headliners.

Jazzy

Irish dance-pop singer songwriter. In demand with artists like Cassö and Sonny Fodera whilst also leading her own efforts and collaborating with newer artists. Up-tempo dance and house energy.

Becky Hill

If you like a good time Becky Hill will not let you down. Fast becoming a Reading and Leeds favourite having performed in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023. Came to prominence through the first series of The Voice but has since never looked back. Highly sought after singer by major international artists including Chase and Status, Wilkinson, David Guetta and many more. Now with three albums of her own under her belt. Her 2023 Reading show was brilliant, perfect for just as the sun was starting to set.
