Having broke this story on the 9th of August when we spotted they were being removed from the Reading Festival app and website, House of Protection have now put out a statement.
At 10pm on the 11th of August House of Protection put out the following statement on their Instagram account:
This is gutting for fans of heavier music at this year’s festival and is the second blow to the line-up in quick succession following the high profile withdrawal of Lola Young. As yet there is no suggestion that another band will be added to the bill to replace them.
