Are the heavy rock duo still on the line-up?
House of Protection were widely seen as one of the most exciting additions to the Reading and Leeds line-up for 2025. Heavier music fans were looking forward to seeing them on the most rock/metal friendly day of the festival. They were also cursing them being up against Enter Shikari and Wunderhorse in a horrendous stage clash.
However, in a blow for festival goers they have now been removed from the Artist information page https://www.readingfestival.com/artists/#az https://www.leedsfestival.com/artists/#az and are not showing up on the timings for the in-app schedules. They are currently still showing on the stage line-up page https://www.readingfestival.com/lineup/#stages but you only get an error message when you click on their name (update – they have now been removed from this page too 1:30pm).
On the bands Instagram page in a post one week ago they stated “Reading & Leeds up next. Who’s coming thru?” We have reached out for an official comment. This would be the second blow for the festival in quick succession following the high-profile withdrawal of Lola Young.
