Changes are afoot at the Chevron Stage after a mixed launch last year.

After the many complaints last year, the Chevron Stage is no longer clashing with the Main Stage later in the day. You can now catch more of the bigger artists without an overlap. There was discussion about it having more of a roof this year, to aid the use of the overhead lights during the daytime, but nothing has yet been confirmed. Whilst still dance focused, there is a wider range of music on it this year compared to last year.

Chevron Stage:

  • 12:25pm – Good Health Good Wealth
  • 1pm – Charlotte Plank
  • 1:50pm – Badger
  • 2:45pm – Nemzzz
  • 3:50pm – Still Woozy
  • 4:55pm – Soft Play
  • 6:10pm – Rudim3ntal
  • 8:40pm – AJ Tracey
  • 11:30pm – C100 (Chevron After Hours)
  • 1am – Badger (Chevron After Hours)
  • 2am – DJ Battle (Chevron After Hours)

Good Health Good Wealth

An alternative singer songwriter duo. Guitar mixes with beats and loops to create intriguing tracks that will appeal to fans of The Streets.

Charlotte Plank

Doing her own set but highly likely to appear with Rudim3ntal later on as well. Dance, drum and bass, tinges of reggae and more. The next Becky Hill?

Badger

A producer/DJ who has released a series of singles and EPs with a range of singers, rappers and artists. Initially came to prominence for a remix of the Vengaboys which will tell you that he has both a sense of fun and zero shame. A dance remix of Natasha Bedingfield’s These Words is his biggest moment to date.

Nemzzz

A rapidly rising star in the UK and global rap world. His last album featured Central Cee, D-Block Europe, Kyle Richh and Chy Cartier. He has popped up on sooooo many other big-name artists tracks in the last few years. If you going for AJ Tracey then you won’t want to miss Nemzzz either.

Still Woozy

High quality chilled indie music from an articulate and intelligent Californian, Sven Eric Gamsky. Listen to the two very good albums.

Soft Play

Played under their original name, Slaves, in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018. Then as Soft Play in 2023. This punk-rock duo are Reading favourites for a reason, they have a dynamite live presence and some fantastic tunes. Their secret set in the Festival Republic Tent at the 2023 festival was an absolute highlight of the weekend.

Rudim3ntal (Rudimental)

Rudimental have an insane set of dance hits in the locker and the list of collaborators on their tracks is full of Grade A superstars. Should be highly entertaining and there is likely to be a guest or two. They will cause us a headache as we would love to catch them, but we also might be wanting position for Heartworms or Chappel Roan. It will a last-minute decision on the day depending on what mood we are in.

AJ Tracey

It is starting to become easier to list the rappers Tracey hasn’t collaborated with than those he has. A genuine megastar in the UK rap scene and a growing force globally. Recent album ‘Don’t Die Before You’re Dead’ was superb. We will be dashing over after Chappel Roan finishes to catch this one.
