CMAT, Linkin Park, a debut from The Molotovs and much more.

Single of the Week: Black Country, New Road – For the Cold Country

A super delicate waltz of a track that meanders, stomps, switches tempos and time signatures leaving you wondering what exactly you just listened too. Challenging yet immediate. 6 minutes of brilliance that leaves you wanting the new album right now.

Black Country, New Road by Eddie Whelan

The Raveonettes – Killer

A gorgeously polished sheen of guitar fuzz over a looping drum beat. Typically on point vocals, an unexpected piano breakdown and finger clicking.

S7ven, Snoop Dog, The Game – PULL UP 2

Absolutely stacked new hip-hop release, nearly my single of the week.

CMAT – Running/Planning

Can CMAT do anything wrong right now? This is a beautifully laid-back country-tinged groove capped by that instantly recognisable voice.

Esoterica – I Am Just One

Third single from London metal band Esoterica ahead of their new album. Feels like it should be soundtracking a dystopian anime before it briefly goes full metal on the back end. A lush soundscape.

The Molotovs – More More More

I somehow missed this much hyped new band had slipped out their debut release last Friday. A week later believe the hype and await more.

Linkin Park – Up From The Bottom

The rebirth continues, a new track to go on the special edition of the recent album.

Loads more on the playlist.
